About Chad

What are your roles at Five Q?

President and CEO of Five Q.  I enjoy interacting with client partners and seeing their missions come alive on the web.

Where do you live?

We live on an acreage just outside of Atlantic, Iowa.  Located just one hour east of  Omaha, Nebraska, we have found this rural setting to be a great place to raise a family while still being involved with client partners from around the country.

What did you do before coming to Five Q?

I have served in various capacities of Internet communication and technology at a prominent international ministry. Starting as their "webmaster" in the mid-1990s, I transitioned to Internet Director and lastly served as their CTO before starting Five Q in 2004.

What do you like to do outside of work?

When not helping client partners, you will likely find me rolling on the floor with one or more of my seven kids, reading and pondering God’s word, or rooting for Nebraska Cornhusker football.

Advice From Chad

Chad's advice about usability testing:

Usability testing can save both time and money. Test a few users early in the design and programming process. It allows you to identify trouble spots and adjust for them before decisions are made that are difficult or expensive to change.

Chad's advice about starting and running a business:

Embrace change. It's essential to growing an effective company because companies don't exist apart from their people. Fostering an environment where people can learn, grow, and develop their God-given strengths--within the mission of the company--is critical for success.
