Joni and Friends

Partner since July 2009
Joni and Friends Website

Joni and Friends is built on Biblical truth and the foundation of Jesus Christ. They are about advancing disability ministry and changing the church and communities around the world. The mission of Joni and Friends is to communicate the Gospel and equip Christ-honoring Churches worldwide to evangelize and disciple people affected by disabilities. They accomplish this through a variety of ministries such as:

  • Wheels For The World
  • Family Retreats
  • Television series
  • Radio programs
  • Christian Institute on Disability
  • Church Relations

Joni and Friends had many ministries and outreach initiatives but no consistent brand or online presence. With three separate websites, none of them were optimized for accessibility by their disabled users. Joni and Friends leadership knew they needed to turn things around online and partnered with Five Q to get the job done.

Five Q combined the three sites into one cohesive website. Accessibility was of the utmost importance and disabled users were enlisted to test the new design prior to launch. Joni and Friends also wanted to give autonomy to their regional offices so Five Q built the admin system to account for multiple micro-sites. Five Q continues to work with Joni and Friends as a retainer client and has created the following custom applications:

  • Church database manager
  • Family Retreat registration system
  • Online bookstore
  • Online donations

What they say about working with Five Q

Joni Eareckson Tada Founder and CEO“I always like to put our best foot forward to people who inquire about our radio ministry -- and the excellent team at 5Q are helping me do just that with the beautiful radio website they designed for Joni and Friends! It's organized, welcoming, colorful, and best of all, easy to navigate. Plus, they live up to their Christian creed as servants to the kingdom; in other words, give us top-notch service. I highly recommend 5Q to your ministry!”
